Monday, May 19, 2025

Susan J. Goldberg, Circuit Executive of the U.S. Courts for the First Circuit, announced that Arielle B. Adler has been selected to serve as Clerk of the U.S. Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the First Circuit, effective May 19, 2025. Ms. Adler replaces Leslie C. Storm, who served as Clerk of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel from 2017 until her retirement in early 2025.

Attorney Adler will join the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel from the chambers of Judge Janet E. Bostwick, of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts, where Ms. Adler has been a career law clerk since late 2023. Attorney Adler has a B.A. from the University of Southern California and earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2013. In addition to her experience in Judge Bostwick's chambers, Ms. Adler has been a law clerk for two U.S. Bankruptcy Judges in the District of New Jersey. Attorney Adler has also practiced bankruptcy and labor and employment law at national and regional law firms.

The First Circuit thanks Leslie Storm for her more than 17 years of dedicated service to the federal judiciary, including her nearly eight years of service as Clerk of the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. More information can be found here.
