Public Advisory Concerning March 2023 Oral Argument
The U.S. Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the First Circuit (“BAP”) will conduct oral arguments by video conference on Monday, March 20, 2023. Given the continued public health restrictions and limits on public access to the courthouse, the court will provide live audio access to such arguments. Public access to live audio of the BAP’s March 20, 2023 oral arguments will be available at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC34rRWiHspbIanDpmBHq1ag.

Methods of Filing for Unrepresented Filers
Due to health concerns regarding the COVID-19 virus, the BAP will not accept in-person filings at the intake window until further notice. The BAP is temporarily permitting pro se (unrepresented) parties to email filings to the court. A pro se litigant should save the filing as a PDF document and email it to: bap01_prose_filings@ca1.uscourts.gov.

If you are unrepresented and plan to file a document in a BAP appeal, see Notice for more important information. You can reach the BAP Clerk’s Office by phone at: 617-748-9650.
