Each chapter of the combined FRAP (federal rules of appellate procedure), Sixth Circuit Rules & Internal Operating Procedures corresponds one a FRAP rules. In addition, there are two chapters at the end of the document that deal with local "Supplemental Procedural Rules" and "Administrative Rules" that do not have corresponding FRAP rules.
To select a particular chapter, select the corresponding link found in the TABLE OF CONTENTS.
For each chapter the FRAP is shown with a dark background. Following the FRAP is the corresponding 6th Circuit local rule and internal operating procedure.
Navigation buttons are at the top of each chapter: TABLE OF CONTENTS, PREVIOUS and NEXT chapters. At the bottom of each chapter is a TOP OF PAGE button.
The "PDF Version" button opens a new window that displays the Adobe Acrobat version of the rules. ACROBAT READER must be loaded on your system to view/print this version of the rules. The READER can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com.
