The BAP is seeking public comment on its proposed amendments to the First Circuit BAP Local Rules.  In the drop down menu under Rules & Procedures, the BAP has included a tab for Amended Local Rules Information.  Under that tab, the BAP has posted the proposed amended local rules, a copy of the amended Part VIII of the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure with the proposed amended local rules, a redline reflecting the differences between our present and new local rules, and a summary of the changes.  The BAP also posted the Notice of Request For Comment on Proposed Amendments to the First Circuit BAP Local Rules which provides information on how and when to comment.  Both the part VIII rules and the proposed amended local rules will take effect on December 1, 2014.
