UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY APPELLATE PANEL
FOR THE FIRST CIRCUIT
Welcome to the Web Site for the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel of the First Circuit ("BAP"). The BAP consists of thirteen bankruptcy judges appointed from the various districts in the First Circuit and, from time to time, bankruptcy judges from other Circuits sitting by designation. The BAP judges, sitting in three-judge panels, hear appeals from the decisions of the Bankruptcy Courts in the districts of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico and Rhode Island.
