UNITED STATES BANKRUPTCY APPELLATE PANEL
FOR THE FIRST CIRCUIT

Welcome to the United States Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the First Circuit (“BAP”). The BAP consists of bankruptcy judges appointed from the five districts in the First Circuit and, from time to time, bankruptcy judges from other circuits sitting by designation. The BAP judges, sitting in three-judge panels, hear appeals from the decisions of the bankruptcy courts in the districts of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico and Rhode Island.
